Absolutely brilliant time, with sunny days and healthy kids the whole time (what a relief!) Best trip yet to OBX.

Dragon Fest

Yesterday was the annual school carnival and Ella had a fabulous time. Needless to say she has the horse bug so we will probably be looking at riding lessons this summer. How much happier can a girl get than having her face painted and riding a pony?

LA Week

This week I spent in LA working on aspects of my client's website, which included casting actors for the avatars that will be on the site. All went well, and we got it done and found some great talent. Also got to revisit some of the 'haunts of my past' in LA.... the Whiskey a Go Go, The Roxy and other places I used to hang out when I had much bigger hair!!

We had a great dinner with a private room at BLT Steak on Sunset. Perhaps the best steak i have ever had in the US.... Was too busy to get any pool time, but i will probably be back in a couple of weeks anyway.

I stayed at the Luxe Hotel which is very like the W, and highly recommend to anyone visiting LA.
